Adam is now back from SEMA 2019 and he says that he misses the rain and moaning of politics in the UK. It was a busy time out there this year with lots of meetings and appointments, some of which we hope to see the fruits of those labours soon. Adam also caught up with friends for a few days and and then for a little personal holiday time. Yogi has been been attending to some personal matters, (no he doesn’t need cream for it!) With his hectic schedule as well he hasn’t been in his bear cave as much as he would liked over the last couple of weeks or so. But we can show you some of what has been going on.
The engine swap out has progressed well and Yogi has been doing his thing with the brake lines as well.
Obviously the plumbing and wire work needs to be completed yet. The Gearbox is in the process of being reconditioned and shouldn’t be to long before we can road test this little lady.
The little secret Resto-Mod has taken a little more shape with some fitting, filler and fettling taking place.
This should be a nice steady project over the weekend for the bear.
This has now been updated with regards to the sheet metal. Unless you are trade and have a particular log on the general public will not be able to buy the fenders, floor panels now. When you try order these parts you will be meet with similar notifications.
It’s a shame that a few ignoramus have ruined it for the many. But, our business model can’t sustain shipping and replacements parts at our expense because a customer doesn’t know what they are buying. On a couple of occasions now we have actually sold sheet metal parts at a loss to the business in order to maintain full customer service satisfaction, when in fact nothing was wrong with our service or indeed the parts supplied.
We hope you understand.
Ford has finally released the details of the Mustang Mach-E. There has been much debate on the forums saying they don’t like it as it’s not a Mustang because it has 4 doors etc, or there is no v8. We can’t possible say one way or the other, but there is no V8 and yes it will go like hell. But is it a Mustang – that debate will rage on for a while yet! But, here is what ford says;
What do you think either as an owner of a classic or new Mustang, or just a reader?
