It goes without saying that the week has been busy as ever, we have managed to clear some space in the garages so we can now move around a little. A few cars this week have been booked in for a general service and some TLC. Not that they need much as the owners tend to look after their every need of course. It never hurts to give them a good once over and a full fluids change and grease up. We have recently taken a small delivery of some smart shirts for our office staff in order to give a more professional look and business image. The response has been has taken us by surprise, it turns out a number of customers have liked them and asked after them. Due to the positive feedback for the shirts we will be looking to get a batch made up for our customers to buy. If you are interested please give us a call or leave a message via our webshop and we will get back to you when we have a selection of sizes available. Dark navy blue with a lighter blue across the shoulders with our logo embroidered above the breast pocket.
Cars:
The Alfa red convertible has had a nice bit of lighting bling added to the front of the car this week, it’s a case of you either love it or hate it. The lights on the classic Mustangs are not the best and there have been many after market versions that have improved them. But some owners still like the stock look over the functionality which is down to pure taste and who is to say what is right and what is wrong? Anyway, there could be a compromise, we have some new lights which are not sealed beam units, but have Halogen bulbs for a brighter clearer light, and at the bottom of the lens there is a set of small LED’s in them. Although these are currently hooked up to the side lights, there is no reason why these couldn’t be set up for daytime running lights. The lights look pretty stock and you have to look closer to spot the nigh tech LED’s. Obviously this helps the visibility and safety, only if you don’t hear the cars coming first of course.
While we are on the subjects of lights a tenuous link to moody lighting here on this customers ’65 Coupe. Yogette took these pictures for us and they have come out quite well as it was getting late in the day.
We have at last got round to posting the video for the door LED’s lights and the hood sequential lights on our YouTube Channel just click on the logo below or the quick link for the video itself. It’s only forty odd seconds but worth a watch to see our bespoke lighting in action.
