After the long weekend we have got round to updating our YouTube Channel. We have now added the LED rear lights and the front side light bulb demo. We have various designs for the different years of Mustang. Please contact us for more details and prices. We will be posting more videos soon.

Firstly we would like to say a big thank all the people who stopped by and came to see us. It has been a very busy time for us and we are suffering a little with losing our voices from speaking to so many people. Our hospitality truck seemed to one of the biggest vehicles there and got as many looks as did our cars. We did get the sausage sandwiches in for a few of our regulars, we gained a few more converts. We have taken a number of pictures which we have updated the current pages for the cars, such as the T5, the Indy 500 Pace Car and our genuine ’66 fastback etc. Have a look at our updated pages. We also decided to get out our ’65 Convertible project car that was on a mobile jig. The trailer came in handy for transport and drew many people. We lost count of the number of people who asked how much it was, and how much it would be.
At he show we had some of our own cars; the Indy 500 Pace car, ’66 Factory GT Fastback, T5, ’67 Coupe in red. We also had some customer cars there as well, ’67 GT 390 Manual Fastback dark blue, ’67 GT Fastback dark green (thanks to Martin for bringing it along and supporting us), custom spec ’67 light blue Fastback.

Of 189 that were allegedly made of which ten are known to still exist. There are five that have been restored and this as far as we are aware, is the only one in Europe.
We think the weekend has gone well, we could have sold these cars many times over. There are many new converts to the classic American Muscle car and we feel proud to be part of that scene and keep the legendary cars on the road. There are very few cars that have the presence of a Mustang Classic on the road, the experience to drive, hear and own these cars is a unique experience. We still believe there is growing number of followers for these increasingly rare cars and this weekend has certainly confirmed that to us. We intend on being around to look after these cars for a long time to come.

Things are moving along with the new web page but it’s not quite ready yet. In the mean time we have some good feedback from the new blog, Twitter and Facebook. It has been commented on that we didn’t a full domain name. So we are now proud to say that our blog is now known as “mustangmaniac.org“. Why the change of mind? We wanted to see how things progressed with the blog first. We have had nearly five hundred hits in just a couple of weeks. Social networking does really seem the way forward.
The name change also makes it easier to tell people about us and rolls of the tongue much nicer as well. Don’t worry if you type in “mustangmaniac.wordpress.com”, it will still come through to us due to the clever stuff behind the scenes does all that for us. Enough techy stuff.
Enfield Pageant (click here for details) is on for 3 days tomorrow 25th – 27th May starting at 9am. We will be there come rain or shine. We have checked the weather obviously as we need to work out what cars to display. The weather is looking good with no rain forecast, but it will be cloudy Saturday & Sunday with Sun on Monday. Sun on a bank holiday Monday? They must have got that wrong!! We hope to see you at the Pageant so pop over to see us. Well – mustangmaniac.org actually!!
We are expanding at a fast rate. As a result we have run out of space it’s as simple as that. Not for the storage of the cars, we have lots of space for that, but for the storage of the cars. We have needed another workshop for our cars for a while now and we decided that time is indeed now. As a result we are building a new pit and clearing the land for a our showpiece workshop.

We have had to create space for a large temporary storage area until our workshop and show area is complete.
We are having to double up on our space for the customers cars. These cars deserve their own space, we need to work around them.

It’s been a busy week, we are slowly getting there with our stock being allocated space and the customers cars are queuing up. We are excited about our range of LED lights that are a direct replacement for the stock bulbs. These are safer, brighter, clearer and should stop the MOT centers moaning about your classic. There will be a video of these in action but for now you can see the inside here, or go to our Products tab. I have added the newer items we now have, like the steering wheels, glass, and our new Rack & Pinion replacement for the early Mustangs.
But to top all that, we now have our new sign up. People were saying they couldn’t find us. Perhaps this bigger sign might help, it was an excuse to get the new logo up as well, now it matches the blog as well. We are still waiting for the website to arrive with a full price list and ordering function.

Today was just one of those days, 7 pallets of stock and parts arrived and had to be moved, put away and sorted. Looking forward to this sit down and 5 minutes peace. But I didn’t bank on one thing though, the telephones!
Better busy than not I guess.

An exciting time of year for us at Mustang Maniac is the Enfieled Pageant which lasts a glorious 3 days. We shall be having a stand at the show and we will be bringing out the Indy 500 Pace car. We will be on hand for advice, parts orders in fact everything Mustang.

We are building a new workshop and expanding our services. We decided that time is right for a new workshop. this will be a little different as we are installing an “old school” pit. there will be plenty of space for the cars that need work. We have had to construct a temporary storage area for customers cars and vehicles that are awaiting their new owners. Not an ideal situation but a very closely monitored none the less. We shall post more on the progress as we get more work completed.
We have added plenty of pictures onto the Projects menu of what we are currently working on. We will add more as soon as we can get the chance.
