Stock, nuts and the mastic Mustang…

We have had a couple of requests to buy some nuts and bolts not a whole pack. We though about it and decided to get some in as it wasn’t such a bad idea. We now have lots of little containers full of random nuts and bolts we use. You know what it’s like to have a single rounded of nut and want a single nut or bolt, well I believe we can now help you out with that. What has driven us nuts (poor pun – sorry), is the separating and categories of the different sizes. We have a picture of one of just one of the racks we use for the indoor light engineering workshop by the office. This now sits nicely with the lengths of pipe we now sell too by the metre. I don’t want to stock take these bits, but it has to be done every so often.  Speaking of stock, what we didn’t want to do, we have done it, we have run out of room again with all the new parts, we are now floor to ceiling capacity with the smaller items in the small parts store. But we have plans to stock more.

Why do we have so much stock now? Simple, we are getting ready for our new web site launch. This will have a very nice online ordering, with stock status so you don’t have to ring us up to get your parts. We hope to have pretty much everything we can of the popular parts. But where there is a special order in the unlikely event that we don’t have it, we hope to get it pretty quickly thanks to our regular shipping dates. Watch this space!!!

New stock of the Scott Drake high performance shocks for the front and rear end of most years are in now in stock. They are great quality, high performance, and all from a name you can trust. The prices aren’t shocking either! (Sorry for another bad pun).

The Mastic Mustang update pictures.

We mentioned last week that the car was off the jig and now she sits on the ramps. We have taken a number of pictures again to show the work and how much she has changed. We have even done some nice welding work underneath. The anti rust pre treatment has gone over the welds and we have a few more places to do such as the rear quarters where we will do it all at the same time. This car will handle so much better now. The engine and gearbox are to go back in and the wiring up soon. Once she is on the floor we will check everything is aligned where it should be and then she can go back to the owner. We have updated the page itself for the car so you can see the before and after results here.

KR Replica:

We hope to bring some updated pictures in the next post for the KR Replica which is starting to look pretty awesome with some great work done by the guys. Again watch this space.
